Working at Barneveld Municipality is extremely dynamic, but is this also the image that lives among working people in the Netherlands? The work experience day should entice job seekers to start a great career in government. But then they do need to see the invitation and show up! A recruiting task that KRB is on top of.
The Municipality of Barneveld faces the challenge of standing out as an attractive employer in times of labor shortages. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the municipality's reputation matches its desired image. How do we profile the municipality of Barneveld as an attractive employer to a broad and diverse audience in the region?
Our cooperation with KRB was not only pleasant, but also personal. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to better present ourselves as employers within our own congregation.

De oplossing
To strengthen the employer branding of the Municipality of Barneveld, we developed a strategic communication plan. It resulted in a thematic concept: "for each other. It translates the core values, with which the government organization communicates in a powerful and positive way.
For execution, we used social media ads, Google Display advertising a WerkenBij newspaper as a supplement to the Barneveldse Krant. We also created plenty of additional visibility around the open house. Complete with newspaper ads, abris, triangle signs, highway poles and a social media campaign.
This successful campaign contributes to strengthening the image of the Municipality of Barneveld as an attractive employer. The result was beyond expectations with twice as many visitors to the work experience day as expected. Meanwhile, we continue to work on the employer branding of the Municipality of Barneveld.
